From the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely amazing!!! We came to celebrate my daughter’s 14th birthday, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make it a night she’ll never forget. They made her feel so special, and you could tell they genuinely cared about making the experience memorable.. This was our first experience at O-Ku, and we had no idea what to order or what to expect. Our server, Bridget, was incredible!!! She was so patient, kind, and knowledgeable.. She never once made us feel embarrassed for asking questions and took the time to explain everything and help us choose dishes we would enjoy. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the entire atmosphere made for a perfect celebration!!! Every detail was topnotch. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you’re looking for somewhere that not only serves amazing food but also makes you feel truly welcome!!! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for making my daughter’s birthday so special—we’ll definitely be back. P.s. She absolutely loves the gloves and they’re a perfect fit 💜💜💜

Birthday celebration dinner. The host (Ross) was very friendly and accommodated our table change from the outside area to inside due to the heat. Our server Caroline gave amazing recommendations that did not disappoint. We're excited to come again for the Happy Hour and try more dishes.

I had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Josh was an amazing server—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I visited for my birthday, and the staff went the extra mile by writing "Happy Birthday" on the menu, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. It really made the celebration feel special. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

Walked into O-Ku on a Saturday evening and were able to get a table for two with no reservation, which was nice. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes before our server came over. The first thing he told us was that he was “very busy” with the table of six behind us. That was pretty much the only other table he seemed to be taking care of, and it immediately made us feel like we weren’t a priority. Because of that, we decided to order everything at once: edamame, karaage chicken, and three sushi rolls. He told us he’d space the food out so the sushi would come after the appetizers. Then he disappeared. About 20 minutes later, he came back and told us he was just putting in the sushi order. Apparently it had never been entered when we originally ordered. The service for the rest of the meal was pretty much the same. The food was fine, but nothing that would make us want to come back. The chili oil edamame came out room temperature, which was odd. We ordered the Black Forest, Sake to Me Baby, and Baja California rolls. The latter two were probably the best of the three, but none were particularly memorable. The service alone of this place deserves 10 stars. Tristen is the best server ever! She is so personable, takes care of the table at all times and is knowledgeable. She really made our night with her friendly personality and even if the food was bad I would give it a high review just based on Tristen. We got several apps, sushi and drinks and the fish was so fresh and buttery. Will be back!
